Capsules provide an attractive tamper-evident finish to a bottle, but do not provide a barrier to air or keep mold from growing on the cork. These heat-shrink capsules require a source of heat such as a range top or immersion in boiling water. They shrink smoothly to the bottle surface when heated to 350 to 400 degrees F.The best method is a heat tunnel which will shrink them around the neck of the bottle quickly and neatly.
